Spring is in the Air and so are the Pollens
...introducing Spring Tea...
If you suffer in the spring from sneezing and wheezing, you are no doubt aware of the symptoms of hayfever. There are many pharmaceutical anti-histamines available at the chemist which can provide relief from the symptoms.
On the other hand, Elderflower tea can also be helpful for hay fever symptoms. It contains tannins which can help strengthen mucous membranes; potassium which is needed to balance sodium for transporting nutrients in and waste out of cells; flavonoids and phenolic acids which have anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
We’ve combined it with marshmallow and peppermint to increase the soothing qualities and calm down the mucous membranes and just a little ginger for taste and to improve upper respiratory circulation. Just add hot water, steep and a spoonful of honey to your taste.
Available for a limited time so that the ingredients remain freshly harvested. 40g loose tea.
