First one of the year from Armidale,
a magnificent ornamental quince to celebrate
Spring (in July).
Only three or so buds on our (early) Floragold Peaches here in Inverell, not so much as a budlette on our ornamental cherries (usually the first to bloom) so we'll politely accept second place even if, it cannot be warmer there than here!
The bees appear comfortable still on the roses, lavenders, rosemaries and Asters, with some white boxes starting to bloom too.
